And you can't have krill if atmospheric CO2 levels increase to such an
extent that acidification of the oceans means their initial instars do not
survive (as detailed scientific research is indicating). Krill is an
essential part of the food chain, for so many of the birds, mammals, fish
and other creatures with which we share this planet.
