Yes Chris Window Alert Decals The manufacturer's literature does say: " UV coating may fade based on exposure and localelevation. Replace every 9-12 months" This could be true or it could be a method for continuing sales. I don't have a way of measuring if they have faded. Ours have been up for about 12 months and we have just got a few more just in case.
