RE:Musk Lorikeets in Brisbane

Hi all,

On the flip side, there is a noticeable absence of Little and Musk 
Lorkeets in the Capertee Valley (NSW just west of the Mountains) at 
the moment, where normally Little Lorikeets are reasonably common and 
Musk a bit less so. There has been no significant flowering in the 
valley for the last few months, but earlier rains have resulted in a 
flush of seeding grasses and good numbers of finches, including 
Plum-heads. Hopefully those same rains will mean a good flowering of 
eucalypts next year.
