Almost for sure, we have had them in our garden here in Hawthorne,
an east Brisbane suburb. A couple of weeks ago my wife, who claims no
knowledge at all of birds, commented on having seen a number of green
parrots with red on their heads. Birds that she had not seen in our garden
before.
I was mystified. We get lots of rainbow lorikeets, and occasionally Crimson
Rosellas, Pale-headed Rosellas and (rarely) King Parrots. But in the 50
years we have been living here, I have never seen Musk Lorikeets in our
garden. And sadly, I still haven't; but Anne has, it seems.
So that small mystery is cleared up for me. Thanks.
