This is a bit like saying "I don't catch the bus because I have no need for it,
so let's cancel it"!
Quite simple really, forget the 'survey'; if you don't use, don't want to use
it or don't care about it, then don't comment. If you do use it you may find
the silent majority have killed it one day. If it's there as a 'service', there
may be an occasion when it is useful to you but not if you "killed it"!
I don't use it and haven't for a long time but I don't see anything rational in
saying kill it because you don't like it!
I subscribe to BA through a Gmail address so I can simply turn off forwarding
if I'm busy with other things or travelling. I seriously don't know what could
be simpler! I'd be happy to help anyone who can't understand how this works ;-)

people's posts, no?). Those that don't want to - it's your choice, but consider
the benefits as Kevin outlined and remember you can still check the archives
and not be tooo far behind (unless they're down). I too think the digest mode
should be killed unless there were enough people who wanted it kept going (is
there a way of doing a brief survey of only digest users, explaining the issues
and giving users a chance to decide? Probably an administrative nightmare). The
only real reason I can think of for not doing this is the problem with emails
banking up.
Would it be possible to explain the issues with the digest when members join
up? Some of the problems only became apparent to me after a while, and to be
honest I hadn't thought of filtering (pretty basic I know, but there you go).
Still very happy how it is (especially if more people ditch the digest). Very
good list - thanks Russell, moderators, and contributors.
