"All in all, at least they are giving it a go!"Don't forget that there are a
group of mere mortals who are members of birding-aus too! Although we're all
learning, it's just that some of us are on the steeper end of the learning
curve than others, as we all have to start somewhere! Let's encourage people to
learn by sharing our knowledge, and not put down their valiant efforts
(although we've gotta have a chuckle now and then as we remember our own
mistakes along the way). Rant over, thanks for listening.

On another note, I had a funny incident with an old cat today - it was in my
backyard stalking something so I shooed it away, then it got stuck up on the
fence trying to escape, and as it nearly fell off (not at all gracefully, as I
had understood cats should be), it decided to stay put and was too scared to
come down - I felt a bit of an idiot trying to rescue a cat, but the owners
came and took it away so hopefully I won't see it again. I'd say its hunting
days are numbered :)
