Being from Melbourne I don't know much about Sydney birding. But if you
go to Long Reef then Warriewood Reserve isn't far from there. Here's my
recent posting about it, and there are quite a few others in the list

I guess there are plenty of better places than what you've mentioned,
but they'd be harder to get to and would depend on what transport you
have and how much spare time you have to waste on travelling. Locals
could advise you better.
