I took Paul and Ruth Dodd birding at Mt Nebo and Mt Glorious today. A bit wet for birding. Didn't see any Logrunners or Riflebirds, but did find a flock of Top Knot Pigeons down low on the track between Jolly's Lkt and Bombana and a few RT Thrush at Maiala NP [at Mt Glorious]. The ground thrush were easy to see on the track. Heard a RC Fruit- Dove but no chance to see in the rain and mist.

Regards, Laurie.

Martin and Nina,

As suggested by phone, Mt. Glorius early in the morning, before the picnicers arrive, can be very rewarding, with various doves, Paradise Riflebird, Pitta, Log-runners....

Also, that you try and get access to a PC and look-up the website for:-

Good luck and Gute Fahr.
