I purchased a swarovski 65 mm angled HD scope with a zoom eye piece. I am
extremely pleased with it and cannot imagine why any one would even consider
buying a straight scope.
One of the major benefits of the angle scope is that you can focus on an object
and then people of different heights can easily use the scope as you swing the
eye piece round without losing the focused target. I hope you understand what
I mean and feel free to ask me if it is not clear.
The angled scope also lets you look at objects without straining your
back/knees, standing on tip toes etc depending upon the location of the target.
Given my purchase again I doubt I would buy the zoom lens but having said that,
I do NOT have to refocus when I change the magnification as many of your
respondents have indicated. I am extremely happy with the scope that I have
and am busy saving for a wide angle fixed magnification eye piece.
I am not sure who the agents for Swarovski are now in Australia as I believe
that there have been some changes.
