I suppose they'd be in big trouble if some photos got out, but of course
they have no right to stop anyone outside the fence so it puts them in a
difficult situation they can only handle with bluster.  I once had a
security tell me to get lost for looking through the temporary fencing
around the site of the Garden Show in the Fitzroy Gardens in Melbourne.
No camera, no binoculars, just looking.  He was much bigger than me, but
was inside the fence, so there was no problem with giving him cheek and
taunting him, etc.

Seriously though, I suppose the more tactfully we handle these
situations, the easier it will be for the next person they pick on.
