Dear Steve

Crested shrike tit can be seen in the Mt Lofty Ranges but it is not a common bird. Where I used to live in wilmington near Pt Augusta at the edge of its range, I saw it three times in ten years. I have also seen it in a red gum forest near Mannum, also on the edge of its range.

In general in my experience not a common bird in SA

Gary
