The only thing you ended up with is porcupine grass in your PJs?

Ouch.

Hi all,

This reminds me of another story from recent years. I was staying at
Newhaven Reserve (site of a much debated Night Parrot sighting) and was
acutely aware of the possibility of Night Parrots in the area. One
night at about 3am I awoke (gradually) to the sound of parrots flying
low past where I was sleeping. I jumped up and grabbed torch and camera
and headed off into the spinifex in my PJs looking for what I was
certain would be the sighting of a lifetime. Needless to say I never
saw the birds in question but later confirmed that the calls were that
of Bourke's Parrots. Definitely a trap for young players.

Regards,
Chris
