G'day all

For the record since Night Parrots are the flavour,

Treat it as you will, but for the record, in the late 90's I was working in Longreach as a barman (sounds sussed I know), however we had many workers visit the restaurant, and of course I divulged in conversation. I remember talking to a road gang who were in charge of tabledrains etc and worked between Longreach and Windorah. I remember one bloke telling me of green parrots being flushed from the grasslands on the odd occassion in the southwest when pushing drains. These blokes were not birdos obviously but I found the comment interesting. They were sure they were not Budgies!

Cheers

Dan Blunt
