Thank you all so much for the immensely generous input in response to
my camera query, both directly and via the list. This topic could
clearly be raised every couple of months, as answers are very
up-to-date. And some of you put in time writing most comprehensively.
The two favoured camera brands, within my specifications,
from all your emails look like being the Panasonics and the Canon
ISs. A couple of people even directly compared them, which is
tremendously useful to me. Following from several sensible
recommendations, I'll be going to the camera store/s to handle these
two types, for feel, weight, etc.
