The following sighting has just been recorded.
Area: SA
Date: 16 March, 2006
Observer: John Turner
Location: Hartley Chaunceys Line Road
Observation:
A slow drive along the road yielded at least 3 Tawny-crowned
Honeyeaters, and also 100+ Elegant Parrots sheltering from the southerly
wind in the roadside vegetation and nearby Mistletoe clumps over a 1km
stretch of road near the middle part of the Hartley - Ferries-McDonald
section of the road. This GPS location is mentioned in the 'Reserves'
description on Birdpedia.
