The Birds Queensland list is a (almost) mirror of the Newsletter sighting
page. However historically it goes back to mid 2002.

It may not do as much but it is a damn sight less complicated. Being human
moderated (myself if you believe I am human) I can quietly reject sightings
like the pair of Paradise Parrots claimed to be seen at Coolum.

Webmaster and Sightings Officer of Birds Queensland.

Queensland already has a well-used online sighting system at

http://www.birdsqueensland.org.au/

it doesn't do as much but it has existed for a while so it has the critical
mass locally.
