Hello all,

Next weekend I am going to the Gold Coast for a couple of days, then to Brisbane and up to the Sunshine Coast (probably based at Caloundra) for about a week, and hope to spend some of this time birding. Being a relative newcomer to the pursuit, I have (apart from a day trip to O'Reilly's) never been birding in Queensland before, so any suggestions on good locations where I can see as many SE Qld birds as possible would be greatly appreciated. Anywhere which can be managed as a day trip would be OK. Please reply to me directly at my email address above.
