Hi all

Returned to WWW again this morning to try and get better views of the Little Bittern. This time was able to watch a stunning male Little Bittern, in full sun, climb around the outside edge of some reeds. He was one "inlet" around from where I saw one, which I am now certain was a female, on Monday. What an amazingly beautiful bird. Also at the same spot was a Baillons Crake & a Buff-banded Rail. An Australian Spotted Crake was seen further around in another patch of reeds, where 3 weeks ago was also a Spotless Crake.
A great spot to go birding on the edge of Maitland , NSW

Cheers
