G'day All,

I have been catching up on BA emails, always a pleasure in life and noted with interest a certain snide shot at the true owners on this wonderous land that white man named Australia.

In a certain email I've just read the writer made reference to fire being a natural occurence here in Oz, as it is, lightening strikes being the main culprit, but the writer decided to add that Aboriginals, the true bush craftsmen, use fire to burn the bush.

This is not correct, they use fire to farm ..... NOT TO BURN DOWN THE BUSH AND HOMES.

Should I remind the writer that you can burn a canyon without the fire escaping? even have water in the canyon and yet still complete an entire burn.

I wonder if the writer has been inhaling some white man made products? whafting in the air from these fires? lots and lots of unusual products in the air at present? and every state govt. is monitoring the air of course right? due to our clean air act of parliament. Life is good. Take big deep breaths John, doctors orders.
