Hello all,
My last sighting of the SIPO (South Island Pied Oystercatcher) at Pelican Park,
Clontarf, SE Queensland, was on 4/9/2001.
Several visits since then have drawn a blank.
Has anyone recorded it at that location since that date?

For more details on the SIPO and Pelican Park go to:
http://www.powerup.com.au/~inglisrc/sipowp_page_1.htm

However....
A visit to the Pelican Park boat ramp wall on 15/9/2001 revealed a flock of
about 20 golden plovers.
I presume they were Pacific Golden Plovers, Pluvialis fulva, or are still
arguing about that?
Some of the birds had significant traces of breeding plumage.

Also at the same spot were four or five Curlew Sandpipers.
