Oh yes, I strongly support your conservation sentiments. These birds should
certainly be protected. I guess we had best get started on protecting their
breeding areas. Do you happen to know exactly where these are? Or shall we
just leave this end of things to chance?

Hello again birding friends
I strongly disagree with cannon netting and concur with remarks by Peter
Cheuwon. If I see a large flock of waders i am very careful who I tell. I
don't want to associate with cannon netters and I fear some will try and
catch or band our birds!
I cant imagine what happens to them after they have been cannon netted. We
know a swamp nearby where large flocks of Black-tailed Godwits congregate at
this time of the year. Would they come back to the same place if they were
cannon netted or would they be frightened off to a less favorable place
never to return?
