Hello All A pheasant coucal once tried to entice my ex-husband into the bushes, braving our dog to do so. It pursued us for fifty metres up the beach and then again on the way back, rushing up to Hilary's feet, cocking its head on the side to look him in the eye and calling. I now think of this bird as the Fantasy Coucal. I do have a couple of other names but they're not really fit for this page!
