Re the Diamond Dove sighting in Hong Kong.  Long's "Introduced Birds of the
World" has the following comments on the species.

"Introduced unsuccesfully in New Zealand, the Hawaiian Islands, and to
Kangaroo Island and King Island (Australia)."

As Frank O'Connor says, it sounds like the Hong Kong bird is an aviary
