This can be totally changed by one word. Liver. It's this simple. Take
cow liver and using a super sharp small knife cut into half inch squares.
Wrap each square in wax paper or small pieces of plastic wrap. For example
thirty of them will make a lot of treats. Freeze the squares. Each day
place a few squares in a plastic bag and put inside a day pack or other
portable pack. When the gentleman approaches the area. Whistle a specific
tune when walking/riding a bike in the area. Once the butcherbird appears
talk in a soft voice but avoid eye contact. Drop piece of liver and move
away. Repeat daily. The result? One butcherbird that can hardly wait for
your friend to show up with that whistle. I have used raw liver as a food
for a variety of creatures and it's like ambrosia to many. Hope that helps
