Thank you all for enlightening me on the aggressive behaviour of Butcherbirds.
It was an attribute I previously only afforded to Magpies.
I have passed on Janine’s advice to my friend and if he succeeds in making a
friend of the bird before the authorities euthanise it I will advise at a later
date.
