It would be interesting to know the nature of the "problems" .  For example
are they due to systems incompatibility between eBird and Birdata or policy
decisions by Bordlife Australia or eBird?

Either way it is a very sorry state of affairs that your data (and
presumably mine and many many others) are not being used by Birdata.  This
is particularly bad when their pronouncements are seen as the official word
on the state of Australia's birds. If they are missing out 50% (and I
suspect I'm being charitable about their share of the 'market') it must
reduce the credibility of their results.
