Hi fellow birders,

The Wings on King project will be undertaking their 2018 Spring Survey weekend 
from 24-28th October, 2018 - King Island, Tasmania.

Agenda:
Thursday 25th - afternoon: Birding for Beginners Workshop followed by a 
Welcome, team formation and orientation
Friday and Saturday all day: surveying in teams
Saturday evening: Dinner with guest speaker Liddell Kidd, Threatened Bird 
Network, BirdLife Australia
Sunday morning: Workshop ‘Enriching your Life and your land: planting for birds 
and biodiversity, Presented by Carmen Hollowary, KI Horticulturist with Case 
Studies

Spring is a lovely time of year to come to KI with  all manner of wildflowers 
brightening up the island, Bass Strait migrants passing through or settling in 
to breed and international ones arriving for the summer.

PS:  You can of course, come to King Island at any time of the year and 
undertake Wings on King surveys.  All you have to do is register and we will 
design and set-up a Field Plan specifically for you.
