Janine, years ago I protested the removal of an osprey nest in the Stuart Park
mangroves by Parks and Wildlife.
It seemed one reason was, as a Tourism NT executive that the people of nearby
Bayview Haven wouldn’t want to have to stare out of their “kitchen windows” at
such an “untidy" structure. Another nest was also removed, and lately yet
another, this time I understand, from the grounds of the University.
