Fly/Drive packages for Portland House
*Fly/Drive/Accommodation package inclusive *
• Airfares with *Skytrans *from Cairns to Lockhart River and return
• You are met on your arrival at the Lockhart River airport with
your 4WD car. (Conditions apply, please see below).
• Accommodation at *Portland House*, Portland Roads, Iron Range.
Self contained retro- styled beach house with air-conditioning in your
bedroom for improved personal comfort.
The house is fully self contained and there is a good store in at Lockhart
River for you to be able to buy breakfast and lunch supplies. You could
have evening meals at the Cafe - a copy of the current night menu is
attached for info.
The car offered is a Toyota Petrol GXL Landcruiser (7 seater). Conditions
of use are:
· The car will be handed over full of fuel and we ask that you
refill before flying out. If the car is not left full we will refill and
charge at the local rate of fuel from the retail store.
· The car is not to be driven on the beach
· The car is not to be driven through any flooded creeks
· The car is not to be driven any further than the Mount Toza
Lookout
· A $1000 payment will be charged in the event of an accident
