Well I agree with the $353k fine for unauthorized entry but BHA are having a
merry old rip off asking for $25k for a tour , just on the off chance of a
sighting.  I wouldn't donate evem $10 for that remote possibility.   Tony.

In an article in The Weekend Australian I address the irony of cashed up
birders being rewarded with a visit to the Pullen Pullen Night Parrot
Reserve in return for a $25,000 donation, while others face a $353,000 fine
for entering more than 250,000ha of potential Night Parrot habitat that has
been locked up by Queensland Government conservation orders.
