   Published sightings for the week ending 18 Jan 2015.

   Wed 14 Jan Black BIttern Bruce Highway, 3km south of Ingham
   Male Black Bittern beside highway early today. Possibly with injured
   right wing: vanished into long grass.

   Mon 12 Jan Mangrove Robin Mission River, Weipa
   Two birds heard, one seen. Only my second observation in Weipa in 10
   years.
   Ben Bright
   Sun 11 Jan Rufous Owl Cairns Esplanade
   Solitary Rufous Owl sighted in Banyan tree between the Port Authority
   building and convention centre.
