Before this line goes too far (and I had never heard of it) wouldn't it be a
blue morph, rather than phase. A phase is something that the bird goes
through at a particular age.

I photographed one on Crab Ck Rd 1km before Broome Bird Observatory.  George
Swan later told me it is predominant form in the region.
