I reckon if your coming up the Pacific Highway a possible stop might be at
Iluka - a nice rainforest reserve there with a good bird list and Beach Stone
Curlew a chance in the area. Lovely place to stay as well or nearby Yamba.
A little further up the track is Evans Head - good coastal heath where Southern
Emu-wren and Ground Parrot a chance.
The Bundjalung National Park spans both these areas
