Sat 2 Nov Blue-billed Duck Lake Dulverton, Oatlands
3 Blue-billed ducks seen in the water near the intersection of Church St and the Esplanade (-42.302137,147.372453). Not especially rare for the area, but noteworthy.

Thu 31 Oct Grey Goshawk Old Jetty Road, Eaglehawk Neck
1 Grey Goshawk (white) in trees along road. Being dived on by a pair of masked lapwings.

Wed 30 Oct Blue-winged Parrot Gawler, S of Ulverstone
13 Blue-winged Parrots in paddock/roadside

Mon 28 Oct Australian Shelduck Maria Island
A pair of Australian Shelducks were observed on the shores of the small lagoon near Bloodstone Point, down from the convict ruins at Point Lesur.

White-necked Heron Paddock near Huon Highway, at Southport turn-off, GPS South 43 deg 24 min 32 sec, East 146deg, 57 mi
Two white-necked herons were observed in a paddock near several cattle.

Wed 16 Oct Caspian Tern Big Roaring Beach, near Surveyors Bay
A Caspian Tern was observed flying for some time quite close to shore. This is the first sighting of this species on this beach in eight years of bird watching.
