Published sightings for the week ending 10 Nov 2013.

Sun 10 Nov Grey Goshawk (White morph) Tasma St North Hobart
The bird was feeding on what may have been a rat or small grey bird, on the fence, 7.30 in the morning.

Wed 6 Nov Fairy Terns, Caspian Terns and Crested Terns Little Swanport
Visiting Saltworks Road boat launching area at the mouth of Little Swanport, there were 6 Caspian and 6-8 Crested Terns yesterday (5th), and 7 Caspian, about a dozen Crested, and 2 Fairy Terns today (6th) along with an assortment of Gulls, Cormorants, Red-capped and Hooded Plovers (just a few of each of the plovers).

Mon 4 Nov Freckled Duck Queechy Lake
One male and two female Freckled Ducks were still at Queechy Lake yesterday.

Wed 30 Oct Sanderling and Pectoral Sandpiper Bay of Fires Conservation Area
Group of 70+ Sanderlings on the ocean beach (Bay of Fires) about 1 km south of the Eddystone Point lighthouse with a single Pectoral Sandpiper on the edge of the flock (being harassed by the Sanderlings). Also 8+ Hooded Plovers and many Red-capped Plovers.
