Sat 26 Oct	Australian Bustard, Red-necked Stint, Flock Bronzewing 30 20S 137 10E 10' Cell Australian Bustard (2) - observed close to the township of Andamooka Red-necked Stint (2) - strange to see this little wader at a desert waterhole Flock Bronzewing (1500) 1500+ observed throughout the morning. At every water hole species was present. Small to medium sized flocks constantly transiting the area. Brendan Cook
Fri 25 Oct	Common Sandpiper Mouth of Hindmarsh River, Victor Harbour A single specimen of a small wader on the banks of the Hindmarsh River at the mouth at Victor Harbour beach at 10:00am. The bird repeatedly leaned forward with its chest close to the sand (see photo). From Morecombe and Internet photos it looks like a common sandpiper, a new bird for me. Paul Tildesley
Tue 22 Oct	Bar-tailed Godwit, Red Knot, Sanderling, Curlew Sandpiper Hindmarsh Island, Murray Mouth viewing point, at 35 33 2S 138 53 2E Many waders present, large numbers of red-necked stints. Bar-tailed Godwit (7) Red Knot (1) Sanderling 50+ Curlew Sandpiper 15+ Rebecca Zanker
Sun 20 Oct	Apostlebird Taplan 35 km SE of Loxton Apostlebird (8) 2 separate groups about 1km apart. Trevor Hampel
Sat 19 Oct	Australian Pratincole Anadmooka Rd A pair first observed bathing at a small road side waterhole approx. 20km west of Anadmooka, followed by another 6 birds seen while driving back to Roxby Downs. Brendan Cook
	Pectoral Sandpiper (1), Black-eared Cuckoo (1) Magazine Road Wetland, Dry Creek Pectoral NE of hide. Black-eared Cuckoo on power line S of hide with Welcome Swallows. Jim Allen
	Australian Pratincole Anadmooka Rd, 20km West of Anadmooka First pair observed bathing in small roadside dam, at least another 6 birds seen while driving the road in the mid afternoon. Brendan Cook
	Budgerigar Point Sturt Peninsula Budgerigar (3) Feeding on seeding Veldt Grass,then sheltering in a section of revegetation during the heat of the day.First record for the site. Nat Doecke
Thu 17 Oct	Rainbow bee-eater Innamincka Regional Reserve Two rainbow bee-eaters observed close to the Strzelecki Track. Public access allowed. Many bee-eaters are present in the Cooper Basin at present. Michael Jervois
