Cape Gannet (update) Point Danger, Portland
The Cape Gannet arrived about 12:30 pm and landed at rear, far left of colony. It was quickly 'bullied off' and took to the air again, but then landed near the right edge of the group in a clear spot. I watched it for about twenty minutes before it started to rain again and I had to leave to catch a flight. N.B. I believe this bird is not paired yet and is therefore relegated to the periphery of the colony, if searching be aware it is in random places each time. (I have seen it in three positions in two days)
