Don't worry about initiating any discussion by posting news, it's all good.
I understand Birdforum and the hoax experiences, and the disappointment
you've expressed, it would be good to get further news of Night Parrot.
It is possible to contact John Young Wildlife via their website (search
those terms). Surely he's best placed to answer the questions?
I'm a spectator with this issue, but with my perspective as land manager
responsible for 20+ threatened species, I'm not surprised at the level of
secrecy, let's hope it's all good. More video documentation would be great.
