Sat 7 Sep Oriental Plover Nightcliff Foreshore
Mid morning wader search. Warm clear weather with slight breeze. Oriental Plover (15) First sighting for myself this season.

Fri 6 Sep Little Egret (race garzetta) Broad-billed Sandpiper Palmerston Sewage Works
Little Egret (3) Three seen flying over sewage ponds. One bird was without a doubt the nominate race garzetta with yellow feet which could be a first for palmerston sewage works. Broad-billed Sandpiper (1) Among flock of other waders feeding on floating sludge. Accompanied by Roy Woodward and Justin Watson
