Birdline Australia

Published sightings for the week ending 5 May 2013.

Sat 4 May Forest Wagtail Alice Springs, Northern Territory
Single bird found by residents on a private property in Alice Springs. A BARC submission is being prepared, but the bird has been well photographed and the ID is pretty much beyond doubt. This would represent a first record for mainland Australia, following a record on Christmas Island in 2009.
Christopher Watson
