Two or three years ago, whenever I visited the Macquarie Discount Pharmacy there always seemed to be a pair on/or adjacent to/ the roof of the shops. Whether
they in fact nested on the roof I don’t know.

Many years ago a pair used to nest on the flat roof gardens of the Cameron Offices Belconnen.
This gave them a good vantage point from which to attack 3rd and 4th Division staff as they walked into the building. (2nd Division parked under cover.)

At the local primary school here in Canberra I have noticed that a apir of Masked Lapwings frequenly the flat roof of the main, one-story building. I guess they avoid the kids that way.
Does anyone have any infroamtion about Masked Lapwings actually nesting on flat roofs?
