White-fronted Honeyeater (Phylidonyris albifrons) (1) First record of this 
species at Seawings on the Waitpinga Cliffs adjacent eastern end of Newland 
Head Conservation Park. Photographed at bird bath by Elizabeth Steel-Collins.

Location: Kangaroo Island

Sanderling (Calidris alba) (5) busy feeding, running back and forth with ebb 
and flow of sea swell, Seal Bay main beach, Kangaroo Island, 9 April 2013. 
Rarely seen on Kangaroo Island. (this follows recent sighting of three birds at 
Vivonne Bay beach).

Common Sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos) (1) foraging atop piles of sea-washed 
kelp, high tide, Stokes Bay rocky beach, Kangaroo Island, 9 April 2013
