Mon 4 Feb White-throated Needletail Spring Beach
White-throated Needletail (50) 50+ birds , possibly as many as 100, late in the afternoon on 9 February as a weak change had come through. There were numerous small groups flying through the trees and over the cliff in front of the house and it was very difficult to judge total numbers. Then we looked towards Orford and there was a significant flock visible through the trees - at least fifty but probably more.
