Sat 5 Jan Baillon's Crake, Australian Spotted Crake, Wood Sandpiper, Latham's Snipe Barrage Road, Goolwa
Baillon's Crake (1) Walking back and forth in front of bird hide Australian Spotted Crake (4) One pair residing under bird hide the other pair were calling from left of the hide! Wood Sandpiper (1) In mud patches surrounded by long grass near bird hide Latham's Snipe (3) All out to right of bird hide on edges of long grass

Fri 4 Jan Latham's Snipe Greenfields Wetlands, Dry Creek
Latham's Snipe (1) Sitting in full sun whilst preening tail feathers and occasionally feeding along the edge of a clump of rush. Great views from roadside.

Two birds with in a communal roost of twenty five letter-winged Kites.

Fri 21 Dec Square-tailed Kite Kaiser Stuhl Conservation Park
An individual STK perched for a long while just beyond the entrance gate to the reserve.
