I'd say one reason it is produced as a physical volume is that those
of us who purchased the preceding fifteen volumes would be mighty
angry if they didn't.  But fear not, you will be able to subscribe to

I understand Oxford University Press owns the copyright to HANZAB so
any online version would have to be driven by them, not Birdlife
