I am concerned about the ongoing destruction of some of the best grassland and freshwater swamp habitat remaining on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. A development currently underway along the Maroochy River has destroyed the habitat of a pair of Eastern Grass Owls and a breeding population of Lewin's Rail.
