Sun 19 Aug	Wood duck Wights Mountain, Samford Valley Nesting on ground under neighbours house with a clutch of 12 eggs. Nest diameter approx 200 mm and made of down. Private property - no access. Peter Storer

	Tahiti Petrel Southport Pelagic Surprise appearance today of lone Tahiti Petrel. Not often recorded in the winter months. Steve Murray
	Plumed Whistling ducks Birdsville, western queensland 14 plumed whistling ducks on the billabong adjacent to town. Flock of 50+ flock pigeons also flew over during the walk. Drew morris

Wed 15 Aug	Spotted Harrier Oxley Creek Common Still on site. 3rd paddock in from first gate - the one with extensive long grass. Colin Reid
Tue 14 Aug	Black-chinned Honeyeater Moy Pocket, Sunshine Coast hinterland 4 birds feeding with White-throated and White-naped Honeyeaters Greg Roberts
Sun 12 Aug	Banded Lapwing Bowra Station Banded Lapwing, (3) on side of road not far from front gate. (I have been told they are nesting on the property) Anthony & Vicki Katon
Fri 10 Aug	Spotted Harrier Jobs Gate Rd Turnoff Spotted Harrier 1 flying low over grassland Anthony & Vicki Katon
