I can imagine someone letting fly into a flying fox colony for fun, but I can't
imagine many bandicoots getting shot, unless I'm mistaken about how hard they
are to find.

You'd have to be spotlighting, wouldn't you?

Peter

As we all know, duck hunters (at least in Vic) have a list of species they can
shoot and a bag limit, and as we all know they are very restrained, make sure
they are aiming at the right species and stop as soon as they have reached the
bag limit.

I am sure our NSW friends will be just as restrained!

I'm not in favour of hunting in national parks, but are they suggesting people
will shoot flying foxes and bandicoots? Or are they talking about indirect
effects?
