Storm,

There is a movement in the USA to open up their National Parks to hunting as 
well. With the numbers of small arms carried by the citizenry of the USA,  
there is the potential for some frank and forthright exchanges of projectiles 
to be had. A birder I occasionally correspond with in the USA carries a .50 cal 
Desert Eagle pistol when he goes birding, for "self protection and bears". I 
don,t think he would hesitate to return fire if some one were to put out the 
odd round in response.
