At the moment we have no shooters party MPs - but both Labor and Liberal
governments have endorsed duck hunting here despite the opinion polls and
lobbying. Given the environmental record of the current Liberal mob (even
worse than Labor!) I would not be surprised if they seized on something
like this to appeal to a few more rednecks - they have a VERY slim majority
to defend at the next election.
